Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She is best known as Bo in the Showcase Television series Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences when she was at rehearsals for play with her mother. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. She graduated from St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. The early stage work she did included two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated out of Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she began to meet him in 2007 during an acting workshop located in Los Angeles. In 2009, they were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in the Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013and had a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk has a number of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for Gemini Awards in 2009 to play this character. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant while filming of the season's third finale episode and broke the news to the fans in a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th, 2013 that the show would return in the production. Fourth season began on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN named Bo's portrayal alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV in 2013. Entertainment Television.
